I went to what sounded like a promising interview a couple of weeks ago for an insurance/consulting/investment firm. The woman conducting the interview sounded so nice and pleasant over the phone that I didn't prepare myself for what was to come.
The interview started off as a normal interview should....."hi how are you, blah blah blah....let me tell you a little about the company...blah blah blah....from your resume, I really think you would be a great fit for the position." Great, right? Well, we scheduled a 2nd interview for the following week (this past Wednesday).

Just as I expected, the 2nd interview started off about the same way....and then she went into this long drawn out story of how some days I may come in and declare it a "Bitch Day" which means I can be a bitch and no one will question me. The kicker is that if someone else wants to declare it a Bitch Day that exact day...you will have to fight it out. I guess there can only be one? I dont know.

Also, she proceeded to tell me that the day before, her computer wasn't working as fast as she wanted it to, so she picked it up and slammed it against the desk yelling "Mother F---er." Appropriate since there were clients in the office.

She explained that they are looking for someone for the long hall. (ok....well, thats what I was planning on). She says, "If one day you decided...'I can't work for this cock-sucker mother f---er anymore'...and leave.....we wont be very happy." Will she be upset because I yelled inappropriate language in a professional atmosphere or because I left. I'm guessing she was speaking of the second reason.

Note: by this time, my jaw had dropped ALL the way to the floor.

Then she follows with...."So, what I am getting at is...if this offends you, you should tell me. We have a certain 'culture' here." Well, obviously.......

So needless to say, Im going to pass this one up.
