Maybe it IS time to re-evaluate friendships. We come to points in our lives where we must do this....graduating High School, going off to college and making new friends....graduating college and realizing that you must face the "real world" no matter how much you want to deny it.....starting a career and making new best friends, but without placing the last ones.....meeting the love of your life and seeing who is genuinely happy for you.

I guess there comes times in your life where you live and you learn whether you want to or not. I recently witnessed a friendship slowly split between friends of more than 10 years. I don't even think one of them realizes this is happening when it is completely obvious to the other one. It is really sad...you think you know a person.....

I guess we are all blinded sometimes. So let your friends know that you care about the big things happening in their lives. It may not be that important to you, but it is to the one receiving.

I am currently reevaluating our friendship. I'll let you know what happens.

Just Kidding.

Your post is true, there are milestones and phases that require reevaluation. It is hard. Just know that you never know when they will reenter your life in a different capacity.

God gives us friends for a reason, a season, or a lifetime. You never know.

Ummm, hope you're not trying to get rid of me- because I'm not planning on going anywhere.:) Love you Mel-mon!

But I do understand that it's wierd how some people do just drift out of your life. But it is pretty sweet when they suddenly reappear. Dang growing up!

Oh, such a true post! It is difficult for me working at a university becuase I know this will be an issue for awhile-people will continue to come and go, friendships will blossom and fizzle...I guess, so is life!!

Speaking of...I miss you-it has been too long!! I hope you are being blessed~
