Depression is so consuming. Why are the bad days so low? It isn't fair. Depression allows certain thoughts seep in. It isn't fair. The worst part is not suffering myself but seeing some of my best friends struggle with it. It isn't fair. Admitting there is a problem is the hardest part. I have been there. It isn't fair.

God will never give us more than we can handle. It is our job to believe we can fight it. Have faith. Listen to Him. He will never leave you. Though the dark days are SO dark, He is the light in the darkness. Seek Him. Allow Him to work in you.

"But let all who take refuge in you rejoice; let them sing joyful praises forever. Protect them, so all who love your name may be filled with joy." --Psalm 5:11

"The LORD is a shelter for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble. Those who know your name trust in you, for you, O LORD, have never abandoned anyone who searches for you." --Psalm 9:9,10
